It was a bit smaller than expected. The chain, itself, may not be to your liking. But the point of this piece is the penguin! I bought it to surprise my girlfriend. She wanted something that would remind her of me. And since I like penguins with a passion, I decided to get her something cute that she could wear for any occasion.

Needless to say, the necklace did its job very well. She's very pleased, and as such, so am I. =)

True as recommended by others that this penguin is small but you cannot keep your eyes off it because it is ever so cute. I adore my sweet little penguin.

Hubby and son bought this for me as a Mom's Day gift this year.
It's much cuter in person - a larger pendant would have looked gaudy but this catches the light just perfectly. Adorable. The included chain is also quite nice, too!

My son purchased this for his girlfriend as a Christmas gift and she loved it, there was nothing wrong with the item. It came in a nice blue box with a chain for the necklace. I would recommend this for anyone who loves penguins it would make a beautiful gift for any occasion.

The necklace is perfect for a gift (I got it for my girlfriend). The picture does not actually give the true size; it is much small, the height being a little shorter than a dime. I personally like the size because it does not cross the line in the appearance of tacky. Great look and perfect to give to a girlfriend.

Beautiful necklace...good quality. The penguin itself was not quite as big as I thought it would be, but it's beautiful just the same. My daughter loves penguins and this is one of her Christmas gifts....I'm certain she love it!

When the necklace first arrived, I intended to return it because I thought it was too small. After trying it on, though, I changed my mind because it caught the light perfectly, even in my relatively dimly lit bathroom. It's a dainty delicate piece perfect for those of us who like a subtle sparkle. Would love to have it in a slightly bigger size, but overall I'm very happy with my cute little penguin! :)

I purchased this from Macy's for my girlfriend for her birthday last year. It's definitely a beautiful piece. It's not too big a pendant, but the black and white Diamonds definitely look spectacular on this pendant. The only thing that I did not like is the fact that the chain is VERY thin and seems very likely to break.

I read the reviews for this and saw that it was much smaller than most people had imagined it to be, so I was expecting it to be smaller. When I got it, it was even smaller than I'd imagined after being told it was smaller. But the size did not matter, it was still so cute, and very sparkley. As everybody else has said, it catches the light perfectly and shines. I would recommend this for ANYBODY that not only loves penguins, but even if they just like them. It's adorable and pretty at the same time. I would recommend a picture of this product in the box in somebody's hand or around their neck to show size.
